25% of romanians work in Agriculture to give 4% of GDP

25 per cent of Romania's workers are employed in agriculture, yet farming accounts for only 4 percent of this country's GDP, President Klaus Iohannis highlighted. The head of state criticised the farmers' excessive reliance on weather conditions and the lack of coherent assistance programs at the Ministry of Agriculture. The President made these statements at the 20th Indagra International Fair for Agriculture, which got underway at Romexpo yesterday.
