Trailblazing romanian surgeons

A rare surgery has been performed in Romania, with a view to saving a 14 year old girl. The teenager was diagnosed with a spinal malformation, besides the scoliosis she was suffering from. In an effort to prevent a total paralysis, surgeons carried out two operations simoultaneously. After 12 hours of sustained efforts, the doctors' salutary intervention was a resounding success.
